Pulling my hair out

I have officially had it! The kids are driving me CRAZY! They have been out of school for the last week for spring break. It has rained here for the last two days so they can't even go outside at all. I have told them at least 1,000 times to please quiet it down. (ok maybe only 750 times) But they are to the point when I tell them to quiet down I get some sort of cutsie answer. I don't want cute I want quiet. I will be so glad to send them off to school tomorrow. I really think that if they would admit it too that they are ready to go back to school as much as we are ready to send them back. I am just getting too old to put up with them on a 24 hour basis like this anymore. I know you all thought I was only about 29 but I am actually just a teenie bit older than that. Not much mind you but just a bit older. We have been going through things here today trying to sort things out for a yard sale next week and trying to pack things up that I want to keep and move with us. I think I am done for the night today. I still have one box I need to tape up and find a place to put it then I am going to sack out after dinner and a shower and watch a DVD. I borrowed one from Joy it is called 16 Blocks. It really looks like it is going to be pretty good so hope it is.

Calgon Take Me Away!!!

Oh Good Grief Charlie Brown, it is only Tuesday of this week and I am ready for a nervous breakdown. I don't know what it is lately but I am about to blow. Randy and I got away and spent a weekend with some friends the weekend before last and I don't know if that is the reason but lately the 5 children in this house are about to drive me right over the edge. I know part of it is being our age and living in a house with as many people in this house. I mean living with your two daughters and 3 grandchildren, and we won't even mention the other "Mother" and her 2 children thrown into the mix. That "Mother" and Jill have gone this morning to take her 2 children to the doctor. It is about time the baby is now 19 months old and has not been to see a doctor since she was 3 months old. So do ya think it is time she went to get some shots or something???? This "Mother" and I use the word "Mother" very loosely is the poorest excuse for a "Mother" I have ever seen in my entire life and trust me I have seen a lot in my years.

Four Day Weekend

Good grief. We have the kids home for a crazy 4 day weekend. They have a teachers workday today and then the stupid government has moved poor Martin Luther King's birthday to next Monday so the kids have the day off from school then too. So we have 5 kids in the house for 4 days. I think I would go crazy but I have already been there and it just wasn't much fun there either. So guess I will just stay in this normal state of life if you can call this normal.

Homework Homework give me a break

OH good grief I can tell the kids are back in school after the Christmas break. Better known as the "Holiday break". They have started back in with homework out the wazoo. If you only have one child to help with homework that wouldn't be so bad but when you have three of them doing homework. You would think that with them all in the third grade they would be doing the same thing but nooooooo. They all have different homework and sometimes they all three have different spelling words too.

Now "Z" has a survey for math. He is asking us our favorite color and our favorite animal. We had choices of a duck, bear, lion or tiger. I mean what the heck does that have to do with Math???

Going Going Gone

I have officially gone crazy. It has been a very short trip but I finally reached my destination. We have had another stray cat appear at our door. This one is orange colored and not to be offensive but heck the cat is just plain fat. I mean there is no other word for it. I have tried to think of other words but fluffy, big, healthy, large.... Nope none describe the cat other than just plain fat. She is declawed on the front and is very scared of the kids. But heck some days I am scared of the kids too. I mean there are some days that the kids out number the adults in the house when Joy and the "Mother" are at work. I wish I could post a picture but that would mean having to have Jill do that for me and I don't think I will bother her this morning.
