Feelings

Sometimes I feel like I am a salmon swimming upstream or like I am on the outside looking in. I don't know how I feel really. But sometimes I feel like I don't do anything right and that I have the entire world against me. I know I am not making any sense but to me it makes perfect sense. I just want to do something right in my lifetime and at this point I don't feel like I have done anything right. I just want to be happy and to make people around me happy. But, all I feel like I do is to make people mad at me. How can a person try to hard only to always fail. Guess that is the story of my life I have always felt like I was a failure, failed my parents, failed my sisters, failed my husband, failed my children, and failed my grandchildren. Guess some people are meant for greatness and then there is me...

Need a break

Right now things in our country are pretty rough for people financially speaking. I would love to be able to have some Tax Relief for Randy and I. I was hoping to get a federal tax refund this year but uncle Sam did not see fit to give me one. To be hones we do not have a lot of debts. I mean we don't have any credit cards and things such as that so we are not in need of debt consolidation. Although I know that a lot of people are in dire need of such services. But we do have some tax debt that I would love to get taken care of sometime so that I don't have it hanging over my head. I can only hope that things in our county will get better soon. Although, to be honest I don't see things getting better anytime soon. I just don't have a lot of faith in the economy situation in the near future. I don't even see our government giving the average working man or woman any tax relief anytime soon. I know as far as I am concerned it is not a wise decision to put the IRS off when you owe them money but what is a person supposed to do when they don't have money to pay your taxes. I hope to get everything paid shortly and just do the best I can do.

Yipee

Today the cable man finally came. We now have cable TV, Internet and home phone. Yipee!!!! I finally can sit on my bed (even if it is an air mattress on the floor) and get online and watch my TV that I bought last weekend at a yard sale for $15.00 and Randy has the TV in the family room that I got for $25.00. His is a 27" TV and mine is a 13" TV which is fine with me as long as I can see it from my bed and get online whenever I want to I am somewhat of a happy camper.

Love at first bite

Since we have moved back to Florida we have really been enjoying being outside sitting on the back patio. There is just one major issue. Well, maybe more than one issue but one that I will discuss right now and that is Florida Mosquito's. I kid you not there are some of them that I think could pick up a grown man and cart him off. I think we need to check in to the process of getting some mosquito traps for the patio. There is not only just the problem of being a bumpy itchy person the next morning. But there is also the risk of the diseases that mosquito's can carry such as the West Nile Virus and probably a ton of other things to worry about. The other evening we were sitting out there on the patio and just as the sun went down. I am telling you it was like someone just opened the Mosquito gate and they came in like a swarm. We about killed each other trying to get into the back door. So, to check into the possibility of getting rid of them seems better and better every day. It is either that or spend every evening in the house and what is the purpose of that?

Cable Guy

On Wednesday the Cable Guy comes to our house. I will be so glad to see him I can't explain it in words. We don't have TV right now. Well, Randy has a couple of channels he is getting with the Rabbit Ears hooked to the TV in the family room but as far as real TV it is non existent for now. Plus I won't even explain the process of getting online to check email and such. But for us as of Wednesday those problems will be a thing of the past.

Going Crazy

Right now the grandchildren are about to drive me crazy and trust me that is not a very long trip for me at this moment. They all seem to want to play their recorders at the same time and even though they say they are playing the same song it sure does not sound like they are playing the same notes let alone the same song. Then there are the temper fits that get thrown from time to time. But surely I will return from the crazy trip with some of my sanity remaining.

Time in a bottle

I would love to find a place where it could be Best of Time - Where Time Lasts Forever but I seem to be in a place where there is just time. As a matter of fact I can't even tell the time cause my battery is dead in my watch. I have to say I would love to wear a Rolex watch but really don't think that they are within my budget right now. But who knows maybe some day I will look down at my wrist and there will be a fancy Rolex watch there for me to tell time on. But in the meantime I will just have to settle for getting a battery for my watch I own now.

Florida weather

They say in Florida if you don't like the weather just stick around for 15 minutes and it will change. That is pretty much true except for the fact during the summer it is hot, hot, hot. If you do not have good air conditioning you will melt like the wicked witch of the west in the Wizard of Oz. Believe me I know because there have been times we either did not have A/C or it was broken or after some of the hurricanes we went through the power was off for days at a time. So trust me if you live in Florida you want to make sure that the air conditioning in in good working order. Trust me on this one cause I know it for a fact.

Well i don't know about me being a liver but I do like liver. I like chicken livers and I like beef liver. I am resilient that I know. We were talking last night and our family can go through hard tough times and come out better on the other end. I guess you could say we are survivors in life.

New addition

We have two new additions to the family as of yesterday. Jill and I went out in the morning to check out some yard sales to see what we could find. We wound up at this one house that out on the driveway had this cage with two guinea pigs in it. Joy had been talking about getting the kids one or maybe a hampster. But this lady was selling two guinea pigs along with their cage which is on wheels and everything that she had for $20.00. Her only request was that she didn't want someone to purchase them that was going to feed them to a snake or to some kind of person who makes a diet from eating guinea pigs. I assured her that neither was the case for out family. So now for $20.00 we got about $200.00 worth of equipment and guinea pigs. The guinea pigs alone sell for $35.00 each. So needless to say Joy and the kids were all very excited. Oh their names right now are Elvis and Rascal. We might decide to change them later but have to come up with something that would be good for two males.

Making more money

I don't know about you but I have been trying for quite a while to find a way to make money from home. It is not that I am lazy that is not it I would just like to not have to go through the office grind everyday and everything that goes along with getting to the office. So I just happened to run across The Maverick Money Makers Elite Coaching Club so I think I am going to check into it and see if I can actually create myself my own way of making money from home. I just want to be able to make money from home to pay the bills and to have the things I want in life. So off I go to check things out and see what is in store for me.

Leftovers

Tonight is going to be leftovers for our supper. Last night I had enchilada pie as we call it. It is the easy way of doing enchilada's but you don't have to roll them you just layer everything in a baking pan and there you have pie. The rese of the family had burritos in a casserole type meal. Then they make other junk to go with their meal. But me being the picky eater only eat what I like and if I don't like it then well I just don't eat it. But I am looking forward to our dinner tonight cause it is something I do like.

Hair cut Time

I went yesterday with Joy to get the boys Hair cut. They keep it pretty close to their heads. So first out comes the clippers and they get it shaved down really close and I do mean close. Then after that comes the straight razor for them to do the edging. These guys go really slow at that process so that all of the edges are absolutely and perfectly straight. When they get done their hair really looks good. Although I am not one to prefer it to be cut as short as they get it. I am not their mother and I am not paying for it so I just sit there and keep my mouth shut and say nothing at all. That is always the best for me however anyone who knows me knows that it is not always the easiest thing for me to do to keep my mouth shut.

Getting older

Now that I am getting older and we will not say how old I am getting I am wanting to do something about the wrinkles I am getting. I would love to have some Free Wrinkle Cream to try out. Happy Easter

Just wanted to wish everyone out there a Happy Easter. We are getting ready to eat dinner before to much longer and boy am I hungry. Hope everyone had or has a great day.

New bed

Randy and I need a new bed so bad so we have been checking out the different styles that we both like. I am surprised that we both really love rustic furniture. Therefore I have been looking for that perfect bed and by George I think I have found the bed I would love to have. The bed I found is called a "Queen Log Bed" it is made out of logs and even the side rails which are made out of metal are covered with wood so that all you see is the log effect. This is a bed that would last us for years to come and I don't think I would ever get tired of it. Now I just need to figure out how I can go about purchasing it for us.

Beautiful dat

I am sitting out on the back patio right now and it is such a beautiful morning. I have to say winter and spring in Florida can really be great. To be honest I do not look forwward to a Florida summer because they can be brutal to say the least. When the temperature is near 100 and the humidity is near 100 it becomes like a sweat box here. But guess we can't have everything now can we?

Yeah Right

We have some people we know that alol they do it seems is tell us what they are going to do for us and with us. I mean there were no less than a half dozen places that they said they were taking us to when we lived in PA and we never went to one of them. Then there was just a lot of stuff that they say that they never do. I would rather somebody never tell me anything and then you are not counting on and expecting something that never happens. But with these particular people I guess the way to operate is you don't count on and expect something until it happens or you have it in your hot little4 hand. But, I am a firm believer if I tell somebody I am going to do something and for some reason I can't then I explain to them that I really wanted to do what ever it was but for this reason it now is not possible. Then they don't think I am a liar.

Smells

I love to wear perfume and to small good but, can we really Talk Perfume here? I mean what is with some women they seem to buy the cheap stuff then take a bath in it. I really have to be careful when I purchase perfume for myself cause there are so many scents that for some reason actually take my breath away from me. So when I find a scent I can breath around I tend to stick with it for a while. But to tell you the truth I am always on the lookout for a new scent to wear cause I do get tired of using the same one all of the time.

Love bargins

We stopped yesterday at CVS Drug Store cause I needed to look for something for Randy. I was so excited to find an aisle of clearance where the things were 75% off the original price. Boy did we clean some of the stuff out on that aisle. They had some 3 shelf bookshelves and small entertainment centers on clearance. They are very nice and we got them for very little money at all. Both daughters and I got some of them to display things on and to say I am excited about our deals is an understatement at the least. I picked up a few other things on the clearance aisle as well and for me to get deals I am a happy camper.

Unpacking

If this were a woman instead of a man it is me. Except for one small detail. My brainy husband decided this move we would not write on boxes what exactly was in each box. Instead of that we would only number each box and then he would keep a manifest of each box which was numbered and then that way we could reuse the boxes. Can I tell you how frustrating it is to only see box 126, 113, 1, 98, 43 and have to go find the list to see if what you are looking for happens but some miracle to be in that particular box? Well you don't have enough time for me to tell you what I think of this system trust me. So for now I am off to check out the list to see what happens to be in box 126.

Time to shop

Now that we are back in Florida I must do some shopping for my grandchildren. I have been looking online and have discovered Baby Boutique. Yeah Yeah I know my grandchildren are not babies and they will be the first to tell me that. But they do have clothing for older children. So it is something that I will definitely be checking into.

I hurt

We have finally got everything moved into the house and garage. The U-Haul truck went back to the dealer this morning. Now comes the time to unpack everything. This is also the part of moving that I hate. Well, I guess you could say that I hate all aspects of moving. I hate the packing, the loading of the truck, the driving on the highway, the unloading of the truck and the unpacking of the boxes. But right now I am so tired and I hurt so bad that there is no explaining it to you.
