Busines Sense and Sensibility

The last company I worked for had some major issues. To begin with they had no system in place to exchange data between employees. They believed they could get by with a very simple program that would basically allow them to enter bills and pay bills. Employees didn't have access to order information or financial data. The program they had did not allow employees the ability to create a budget, track orders, track cash flow nothing that was of vital importance to the survival of the company. Without these abilities, it was a daily issue of just paying the bills to keep the business up and running. They were constantly calling the bank to see how much money was in the checking account and then trying to figure out what checks were outstanding and then come up with an estimated bank balance. To say the least, it was a constant juggling act.

There are services out there that could have greatly benefited from. One of those businesses is Business Intelligence Consultants. They not only offer public training courses which you can send your employees to. They also offer what they refer to as "Classroom in a Box" which they could deliver to your office or to a venue of your choice.
