Dinner Time

Well I did it I proved to my family that I still know how to cook. I rarely cook anymore either my oldest daughter cooks or my husband does some of it. But today I took a 2 pound beef roast and turned it into dinner for ten people. I cooked the roast all day long on very slow heat on top of the stove until I could just pull it apart with a fork. Than I made a table full of homemade noodles and we had beef and noodles for supper. We had mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and we all ate like we were condemned prisoners ready for our last and final meal before our execution. But now that I am thinking about it I could almost go another little helping. Bit since it is 11 PM I think I will pass and maybe my rear end will not go up 2 sizes by morning.
