Monday Morning Blues

Well it is Monday morning and we finally have all the school age children off to school and all the working adults off to work. You know how it is on Monday, nobody wants to get up and go after the weekend. Especially the kids. They always have a hard time getting up for some reason on Monday morning and getting into the groove. Plus this year they are going to a new school and are trying to make new friends. Also, they are riding a school bus for the first time. This is something that they have begged every year to do. But, now they are finding that it is not so much fun having to ride the bus in the morning for over an hour and then riding it again in the afternoon for over an hour. We are only 20 minutes from their school so I have no idea why it takes so long to get them home from school. But who am I to question the dreaded bus driver. Plus my granddaughter doesn't do "hot" well and well lets just say that in Florida on a school bus that has no air conditioning. Well, need I say more? Just suffice to say she is sweating when she gets off the bus and she doesn't like to sweat.
