Rain rain don't stay away

Today is a cloudy rainy day here. I actually like days like this. It is not storming just raining. There is nothing that makes me any lazier than a rainy day. Well ok maybe I can think of a few things but they are not what this post is about. It is about rainy days. I also like a rainy day when you can hear the distant sound of thunder. I don't want to be in the midst of a major thunder and lightning storm just the distant rumble of occasional thunder helps me to peace out. So I think it is time to curl up with my Bible and do some serious reading today.

Rain Rain

Yes it is a rainy day here today and it was a rainy day here yesterday. I am not complaining mind you. We needed the rain so much as things here were so very dry it was unreal. Yesterday was one of those days where I just pretty much read a book all day long. I usually never have the chance to do that on a rainy day. I usually have to get out and go to work but since I am not working right now I could just lay around and read a book I got from the library. Now today is a different story. We have a couple of errands we have to run today so hopefully we can do that between the raindrops and not get soaking wet today. But oh well guess I won't melt if I do get wet.

Rainy days

Today is not been an actual rainy day but it has been a cloudy day. I heard thunder a little bit ago so I took the dog out to do his thing before it started raining and he did and as of yet it has not started raining. But still looks like it is going to start it any minute. But wait I actually think I can see just a ray of sunshine on the ground outside. Oh well at least it has been a veg out kind of day for us rain or shine.
