So many things
I cannot believe all of the things we need to do in order to move.
Just shoot me now
We are moving this week. As a matter of fact we got the keys to our house yesterday. So today we start the moving process. We are not prepared to be moving, as almost nothing has been packed for the move. It will be my two daughters and myself doing all of the moving. Have I said I am getting way to old for this stuff. Well since I didn't just let me say I am getting way to old for this stuff. I hate moving in the first place and then to not be ready in the second place. Well just let me say I would rather someone just shoot me and put me out of my misery. But since I don't really think I am going to get anyone to take me up on the shooting me request. I guess I will dig out my tennis shoes and get myself busy shortly and hopefully by this time Friday morning I will be back at work and will have left from the new residence and will have been able to find my clothes for work. But in case none of that happens I just don't know where I will be or what I will be doing. So think good thoughts for me.

I Hate change and the unknown
I am a person of order and to say that change and confusion disturb me would be an understatement to say the least. But our lives are about to change yet again. We moved here to Pennsylvania last year thinking that there was something for us to do here in a church. To say we were misled would be saying it mildly. To be honest I actually believe we were grossley lied to. But after being here for these past months with nothing happening but me going to work everyday. We have made the difficult decision to move back to Florida. This has not been an easy decision especially for me. I know that as bad as some issues are on the job I have right now it is nevertheless still a job with a weekly paycheck. But we have no family here and to be honest no friends here. (because friends do not lie to you) So we are in the process of packing yet again for yet another move. We will not be moving any furniture with us because to be honest what our so called friend here in PA got for us to have here is not worth paying for the space to move it with us. I guess besides the deceitful way were treated the next hard thing for me is to start all over again with basically nothing. We are both 62 years old and to have nothing to show for 42 years of marriage is, well hard to say the least. We will be staying for a little bit with our daughters. They have no idea how hard this is for me especially to start all over again in life with nothing and depending on my daughters for a place to live. Life should not be this painful. I am not saying I want a lot. I just want some decent furniture and a decent place to live and a life. I don' know if anyone who read this will understand my ramblings and not sure I really care if anyone reads this or not. Guess I just had to get my thoughts out and this is the only place I have to do that. So if you were not interested in this post for that I am sorry. But after I get over the pity party I will try to have a better post.

Count Down
Well a week from tomorrow we will be loading all of our possessions on the truck which will take them to PA. There our friends and some help will unload everything and have it all in our apartment when we get there. I will need to unpack everything but that is something that I can take my time doing and not have to have it done all in a day. We arrive in PA on Saturday afternoon and I start working on Monday morning. I am very thankful for that.

New Adventures
As I said earlier Randy and I are getting ready to move. This time is going to be a totally new experience for us. We have moved many times and a lot of them have been cross country moves. But I think this move is going to have some firsts for us.
- First we are not actually driving a truck with our possessions to our destination. We have friends who have arranged for a small semi trailer to be dropped here and we load and then it gets picked back up and the trucking company drives it to our destination.
- Our friends arranged for us to fly to our destination. Which means we will physically make a cross country move in just a couple of hours instead of a couple of days.
- Our friends just rented us an apartment in our destination city. So we will move into a home that we have never seen.

Packing
We have been packing all weekend. I didn't know we had so much stuff. Plus it seems like every time I pack things from one area of the house more stuff magically appears in the same spot. We have a lot of it done but I hate packing and moving. I want to just have it all over and get there and get unloaded and unpacked and be done with it. Plus on top of packing I did laundry too. So now it is time for ice cream and to just relax for the rest of the evening.

Almost time

Well, it is almost time for us to move. We will be leaving in just about a week and a half. Although I am excited about moving to PAand Randy and I having our own place again. I have appreciated our daughters putting up with us for several months now. But, after being married for 40 years it is always good to have your own abode and have the peace and quiet that we need at our age. So as excited as I am about our move, I am just as equally sad about leaving our daughters and our grandchildren. I know Jill is going to Holland and that is hard for me too. I know this is something she really wants for herself and I say go for it. But as a Mother you always want your children close to you. Joy will be staying in Florida so there will be about a thousand miles between her and the kids and us. I will miss very much being around our grandchildren every day. I know this has to have been hard on them many times having 4 adults tell you what and what not to do. But all in all I think they have done pretty good with it all. I just wonder when we leave how many miles I will cry on our way. I know we are supposed to make this move but that doesn't make it any easier to leave the only family you have. But to my daughters I say you are both strong women and I have no doubt that you will do fine without me looking over your shoulders. You are both a chip off of the old block. So with that in your favor I know you can take what ever is thrown at you cause you are both 3 generation bitches. So go both of you and kick some ass!

Time to get serious
Well, we had the yard sale yesterday and it was a pretty good success. We worked out collective butts off and I was in bed and out for the count by 10:00 PM last night. So now it is time to get serious about all of the moves that are getting ready to happen from this house. My daughter Joy and her 3 children are going to get an apartment which is closer to her place of work. The kids are very excited about that. But I don't think it has really sunk in that their Aunt Sue Sue and their Nannie and Poppy will not be right there with them. In some ways they will be happy about this because I am sure it is no fun having 4 adults living in the house telling you what to do. I mean you could get something past just your Mom but when you have your Aunt, your Nannie and Your Poppy very little gets past everybody. So usually somebody is in trouble for something most of the time. Then Jill is going to move in June to Holland. I am excited for her but the Mother in me does not want my child that far away from me. If Joy were to have a major problem then we would just have to get here somehow to help her. But come on if Jill has a major problem..... Think about it I know I can swim but I am not that good of a swimmer to get there with her all the way across the ocean from me. But she is a big girl and I am sure she will be ok and I do EXPECT her friends (Tracey, Richard and Yvonne) to take good care of her for me. Cause if they don't and I have to come over there. Well, let's just say it will be an international incident for sure. Then for the final move. Randy and I are going to relocate to Pennsylvania. We lived there years ago and things did not go well for us that time. But this time I really believe that God is putting together a whole plan the way things have worked out for this move. But, only time will tell. One thing about Randy and I is we are not afraid to pick up and move and if things don't go well, we will just pick up and move back to Florida although I hate Florida. I hate the seasons here. You have Not so hot Summer (Winter) warmer summer (Spring) Hot as Haides Summer (Summer) and almost hot as Haides Summer (Fall). So pretty much you have some form of summer year round here. Well now it is time for me to finish packing up our things.

Packing Up
Well I have started to try to pack some of the things we have here in our room. I can't believe how much stuff I managed to stuff into the closet in this room. I kept saying that if I put anything else in there it was going to blow some day. Well I have some of the stuff packed and you just wait. I have had some of this stuff in the closet for several months now and as soon as I pack it up that will be the one thing that I wind up wanting to have at my finger tips. You see I am one of those OCD sort of people. I am a firm believer that there is a place for everything and everything should be in it's place. I guess I started doing that when I was a teenager. My Mother was one of those snoopy mother's and she would go through my things even my purse. So I always got into the habit of putting things away in a very specific way. That way I always knew when she had been snooping. I don't know why she didn't ever figure out that I never had anything in the house that I didn't want her to find. But guess she thought I would slip up somewhere. Well that has been the way I have been the rest of my life. When my daughters were younger I could always tell if they had used a bottle of my perfume and it took them quite a while to figure out how I did it. But, I think they finally figured it out.
