Cooking dinner
The other night we had a big pork roast for dinner. So tonight we are having leftovers. What I am doing is we cooked the remainder of the roast to make sure it is really tender. Then I dice up potatoes and put them in the broth to cook until done. After that I cut the port roast into small bites and put it into the broth and there you have it. We have hash. We serve it over bread on our plates and have a couple of side dishes and trust me the only thing we throw away on the roast is the bone and any large pieces of fat. It is very good and the way the economy is these days you have to make your groceries stretch as far as possible.

Leftovers
Tonight is going to be leftovers for our supper. Last night I had enchilada pie as we call it. It is the easy way of doing enchilada's but you don't have to roll them you just layer everything in a baking pan and there you have pie. The rese of the family had burritos in a casserole type meal. Then they make other junk to go with their meal. But me being the picky eater only eat what I like and if I don't like it then well I just don't eat it. But I am looking forward to our dinner tonight cause it is something I do like.

Left overs
OK, this household is on a very strict food budget. We had chili two nights ago for supper and we had chili last night for supper and we are having chili today for lunch. So, now we are all very tired of chili. But it is pretty cheep to make if we make big pots of it and have left overs. Usually we only get two nights on it but this time we had a bonus and we actually got a free lunch. I am not really complaining but I am ready for something else tonight for supper. So now the search, what are we going to make tonight that we can get a couple of meals out of?
